A rooted plant in a nursery bag, roughly 15–30 cm tall, typically already in flower in season. Flower colour depends on current stock.
Sadabahar earns its name here: it flowers through the Faisalabad heat when many other plants shut down, and tolerates dust and hot wind. Give it full sun or bright partial sun with free-draining soil. It is cold-sensitive, so expect it to fade in winter; many gardeners simply replant in spring.
Water when the top 3 cm of soil is dry — it prefers slightly dry conditions and sulks in soggy soil. Feeding needs are light; a monthly balanced feed in the growing season is plenty. Pinch stems occasionally to keep it compact and full of flower. Avoid overhead evening watering in the monsoon, which encourages rot.
