What you receive
A rooted plant in a nursery bag, roughly 60–100 cm tall. Photos show mature fruiting plants; you receive a young nursery plant.
Suitability for the Faisalabad region
Pomegranate is naturally suited to hot, dry summers, which makes it a sensible fruit choice for the Faisalabad region. It needs full sun to flower and fruit properly. February is the planting window listed in the official Punjab nursery schedule, letting the plant establish before the summer heat arrives.
Best planting window: February
Care
Water when the top 5 cm of soil is dry; steady moisture while fruit is developing helps prevent fruit splitting, but the plant dislikes waterlogging. Feed in early spring and again in early summer with a balanced fertiliser. Prune in winter to a few main stems and remove suckers from the base. Fruit quality varies with variety and site, so treat the first seasons as establishment years.
